Sometimes that's communications: messaging, media, digital, fundraising, websites, literature, and public-facing campaigns. Sometimes it's the infrastructure behind it: donor programs, stakeholder coordination, special projects, research, vendors, events, or simply owning the thing nobody else has the capacity to own.
