Who we are.
What we believe.

Built by doing the work.

Marchetti & Co. started in 2019 with a handful of political and nonprofit projects and a simple idea: do good work, be useful, and take care of the people who trust you with it.

The work grew because the problems did. A communications project turned into a fundraising question. A campaign needed more than a message. A business needed help seeing an opportunity through. Clients came back with bigger questions, different challenges and work that didn't fit neatly into a traditional agency or consulting model.

So we followed the work.

Today, MCo. works across business, marketing and politics, but the way we built the company hasn't changed much. We get close to the work, learn what matters, find the right people, chase down answers and take ownership of getting things across the finish line.

Integrity and judgment have been at the center of MCo. from the beginning. They still are.

Monica Marchetti

Monica is the founder and principal of Marchetti & Co., a consulting firm working across business, marketing, and politics.

She is often brought in when something important needs to move: a business has an opportunity it can't quite get off the ground, a project needs an owner, a marketing effort isn't doing enough, or the stakes are high and there isn't much room to get it wrong. Her background spans business, political campaigns, marketing and communications, nonprofit leadership, legal operations, public affairs, and grassroots organizing.

Monica founded Marchetti & Co. after years of becoming the person people called when they needed help figuring something out and then actually getting it done. What started with campaigns and communications grew into work ranging from fundraising and government affairs to business consulting, marketing, special projects, research, rebrands, and organizational problem-solving.

That range is intentional. Monica believes the best work rarely fits neatly into one box. She is known for asking good questions, getting into the details, finding the person who knows, and staying with a problem until there is a way forward.

A graduate of the University of Washington, Monica serves on the University Place Economic Development Advisory Council and remains involved in community and nonprofit work. She lives in University Place with her husband and their Alaskan Malamute, Ellie.

Trent Marchetti

Trent serves as Finance Director at Marchetti & Co., supporting the firm and its clients with the financial and operational systems that keep projects organized and moving.

With experience in tax office operations, skilled trades, and business administration, Trent brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to his work. He is often the person behind the spreadsheet, invoice tracker, contract log, budget outline, or internal system that helps turn messy information into something clear and usable.

At Marchetti & Co., Trent supports client work through invoicing coordination, contract tracking, reporting, spreadsheet development, and project organization. His work helps ensure that details are accounted for, deadlines are easier to manage, and clients have the structure they need to make informed decisions.

Known for his precision, reliability, and problem-solving mindset, Trent brings order to the pieces that can otherwise slow a project down.

When he's not buried in spreadsheets, Trent can usually be found working on a project for his wife, solving problems he didn't create, or enjoying a quiet evening at home.
